What happens once I’ve booked my Family Shoot?

You will receive an email confirmation giving you details of where we are and what to bring. There will be a link to our Pinterest board which will give you ideas of poses, props, styles and looks you wish to achieve from your shoot. It would be great to get these thoughts from you before the shoot, so we can ready for you on the day.

On arrival for your shoot, you will be taken upstairs to the studio where there will be refreshments and snacks available. There is a sitting area for you to relax while the shoot is taking place. We provide a separate bathroom and changing area. Kids fun props are available, but if there is anything in particular you wish to bring with you to keep them occupied or to use in the shoot, please do so! If you wish to have outdoor shots please let us know, as we are able to cater for this in our private outdoor space.

What happens once I’ve booked my Corporate Shoot?

You will receive an email confirmation along with a questionnaire which we would like you fill in. This gives us a better understanding of what you require from your shoot, and helps us to know the set up required for the day. We will also send you a link to our Pinterest board which will give you ideas of poses, props, styles and looks you wish to achieve from your shoot. It would be great to get these thoughts from you before the shoot. This will enable us to run a smooth, efficient shoot for you in the comfort of your offices.

We have a selection of backdrops in various colours, so please let us know your preference in advance of the shoot.

What do I wear for my shoot?

Please bring a couple of outfits/tops to your photoshoot, preferably keeping to plain or white clothing, as these work best against our studio backdrop. Patterns or prints distract and date your photo.

Choose mid- tone colours, such as blue, green, wine and purple because they are universally flattering. Avoid wearing tops in flesh tones (cream, beige, pastels, peach or yellow) as they will blend your face into your clothes. Please note if you’re using a white backdrop please avoid wearing a white or light shirt.

Make-up is included, if required. If you are needing make-up for your shoot we will ask you to arrive 30 mins beforehand. Please come with your face clean and make-up free.

The indoor shoot will involve flash photography.

What make up products do you use?

We use a combination of make-up ranges. If you have any particular concerns or allergies, please let us know in advance. 

What about hair?

Hair styling is not provided, however this can be arranged if required at an additional charge. We ask that you brush and style your own hair once makeup has been applied. Please don’t worry about styling any fancy updos as these won’t necessarily show up in your photo. If you are getting a cut, please get this done at least a week before the shoot.

How long before I can see the photos from my session?

We will send you a link to our online gallery within a week of your session.

For a family shoot, we will invite you back into our studio 1-2 weeks after the shoot where your images are then beautifully presented. We can then discuss frame options and help give you what you need for a lifetime of memories.

For corporate shoots, all your images will be available to view and download from our online gallery.
